Services Available
I groom all breeds of dogs and cats, long and short haired. My basic groom includes ear, eye, and nail care, along with tidying of foot pads. I attend to sanitary areas and check anal sacs. Bathing includes conditioning with attention to the health of the skin; brush-outs include de-tangling and de-matting. For pets with longer coats, I provide breed-specific clippering, scissoring and styling. Note that I regret I cannot accommodate larger dogs 40 pounds in my salon.
How I Charge
My Basic Grooming fee for a dog ranges from $106 to $156, depending on the size and breed of dog. My services include trimming the sanitary area, clipping the pads, cleaning the eyes, cleaning the ears, a double bath, a condition of the coat if appropriate, and providing a full brush out which removes the dead undercoat. If your pet requires mat removal, there is an additional charge depending on the time required. . My mobile fee of $44.00 brings my Sprinter to your home -- a one time charge no matter how many pets I see at my visit. Other popular auxiliary services are filing (dremeling) the nails ($28.00) or use of a specialty shampoo for skin sensitivity or flea treatment ($10.00).
For a cat, my Basic Grooming fee is $116.00 (which includes the same services as outlined above for dogs), with a mobile fee of $44.00 to bring my Sprinter to your home (one charge for one cat or multiple cats). Auxilliary services include lion cuts ($25.00), dematting without a cut ($20.00), or a plush groom (shortening the coat of a long haired cat following the Basic Groom) for $20.00.

How I Schedule
Please call or text my cell (925) 934-8737 or e-mail me (loelgrooms@gmail.com) and leave me your name, your type of pet and weight, and your general location. I will return your call as soon as I am able to set up a grooming visit if I have any availability. I routinely allow one and one half hours for my first visit for both assessment and initial grooming. We will then determine together what grooming cycle is appropriate and schedule future grooming appointments accordingly, placing your pet on a 4 week, 6 week, 8 week, or 10 week recall cycle.
Regular and repeat groomings are necessary to properly maintain your companion’s coat without subjecting her to unpleasant or unsafe grooming procedures. Infrequent grooming for many breeds -- for example, poodle mixes and pets with longer coats -- inevitably creates undue stress for both your pet and the groomer.
